SETO: A SuperCollider Environment for Tangible Objects
SETO is intended as an environment to operate on tangible objects in >SuperCollider 3.
It evolved out of the need for a framework to effectively use the TUIO protocol in live-coding scenarios build in SuperCollider.
For each object recognized by an external application linked to SETO by the TUIO network protocoll a digital representation is instantiated.
In order to realize additional functionality of the objects such as sounds on motion the developer has to subclass from SETObject or SETOInteraction.
She may also use the predefined Just in Time Object JITseto.
SETO also provides a GUI frontend for both, monitoring and emulating of tangible objects.
